Triad Web Meetup
Presentations for the community
The central branch of the Greensboro Public Library, located in downtown Greensboro, hosts our meeting the third Wednesday of each month. Community members share their web knowledge through group presentations, networking, and meeting like-minded people. The event is always free, and a great way to learn together, contributing to our shared goal of demystifying the web.
Code Examples
Free code snippets
One of my favorite things about a blog is sharing solutions to problems I’ve run across. I post example code to the site when I think the information will benefit other developers.
Kiva
Loans that change lives
For as little as $25 you can help microfinance a loan to help a group or individual across the globe. Kiva’s mission is to connect people, through lending, for the sake of alleviating poverty.
WordCamp
Conferences on everything WordPress
There’s no better way to immerse yourself in WordPress and meet an amazing open source community than by attending a WordCamp. Organized and run by volunteers, WordCamp events take place all over the world each year. Attend, volunteer, speak, help at the genius bar, patch bugs in the hacker room, and make new WordPress friends.
